Our Studio
Welcome to Art Smart. My name is Lynn Adams and I've worked as a professional artist, illustrator and teacher for many, many years. I'm a fully qualified Primary School teacher and have taught in primary, secondary, alternative provision as well as teaching adults.
I believe that we can all make art, we just need to find out what we enjoy and what we want to achieve and here at Art Smart I want to teach all my students to believe in themselves and to, most of all, have fun.
I want to offer the courses that you want to see and I'm open to all ideas and suggestions. We only have a small studio so groups are limited to just 10 students. This will ensure that all students get individual attention and support but also allow us all to share ideas and thoughts.
I am also a trained Arts Award advisor and can offer courses for Discover, Explore, Bronze and Silver Awards.
We are located at 4, Manners Road, Newark NG24 1BS - we have some parking spaces outside our school or across the road at the council offices there is a pay and display.
